Basilico

Basilico entices with an emphasis on fresh, seasonal and authentic Italian cuisine. Enjoy a dazzling array of signature dishes and sumptuous spreads of antipasti, mains and desserts. Enlivening the dining experience is the theatre of activity surrounding a rotisserie, espresso bar and walk-in wine cellar, and an al fresco dining area on the terrace overlooking the pool.

During this period of phased openings, Basilico’s entire brunch menu offering—antipasti, mains, cheese and desserts—will be served directly to the table at the point of preparation by our chefs. Basilico will resume opening with dining up to 2 persons per booking. A curated selection of our menu is also available for island-wide delivery and takeaway.

Island-wide Delivery and Takeaway

It’s the next best thing short of taking our Italian chefs home. Basilico’s extensive menu is now available for island-wide delivery and takeaway. Restaurant signatures such as pizzas, oven-baked foccacia with black summer truffles and robiola cheese, and pastas⁠—orechiatte, raviolacci, lagsana and tagliatelle—can all be taken home. Free delivery for orders above $180. Minimum delivery order of $30 applies.

For a hassle-free takeaway experience, simply submit your order and payment online, select your desired pick-up date and time, and show up for your pick-up. Orders should be placed at least 45 minutes ahead of pick-up. Guests arriving for pick-up will be eligible for 15 minutes free parking at Regent Singapore’s main entrance. Takeaway collection point is located in the hotel lobby. No minimum order for takeaways.

With a recent refresh that sees a retractable partition, Basilico has converted its cosiest nook into a discreet semi-private dining area. Dressed in palettes of orange, slate grey and positioned next to the pool, it is perfect for an intimate gathering with families or hosting business partners and social events. In line with the prevailing guidelines on social distancing, please be advised that we are only able to accommodate up to 5 persons per booking.

Meet Our Chef

Valerio Pierantonelli, Head Chef

Born and raised in Rome, Chef Valerio was but just a young teen when his culinary career kicked off at the tender age of 15. Talent always supersedes age, so it was little surprise that he left Italy at 19 to garner more notches under his belt in major cities like Nice, London and Monaco. In Monaco, at a restaurant owned by the famous Italian football player Gennaro Gattuso, Chef Valerio helmed the culinary programme whilst rubbing shoulders with royalty and the glitterati. Having conquered Europe, he set his sights on New York City next and was in charge of restaurants spanning the East Coast. He counts being part of an entourage that executed a 20 million euro wedding in Grotta Palazzese, a cave restaurant in Puglia, one of his culinary highlights. All that’s left now is Asia, where a new chapter writes itself at Basilico.
